Image Factory (Part of the Paragon Group) based in Chippenham, UK has started 2025 with a delivery of a 1420 Lamina Packline. The machine has been developed and built by the team at Lamina System in Sweden to glue flat collated corrugated mailer packs. This time consuming finishing process is traditionally carried out by many agency staff using hand-held tape guns.
Easypack based in East Anglia, UK is a P.O.S. Display unit specialist well known for their high quality corrugated FSDU’s. Lamina System has installed its 34.18 Displayline Gluer at Easypack in January 2025 directly after the Christmas break.
Lamina System have just installed their popular 14.20 Packline SA at Delta Display in UK. The machine has been commissioned in Delta Display’s brand- new modern facility in Bishops Stortford near London Stansted airport.

Delta Group based in Bishop’s Stortford, UK has become the world’s first company to install a second Packline from Lamina System. The first Packline was a 14.20 but this model is a half-size 07.10 for smaller packs and is the first one to be built.
The Packline is a fresh and newly designed hot-melt packing line launched in 2024 for gluing flat collated POS corrugated packs (FEFCO 402).
This finishing process is traditionally carried out by many staff using hand-held vinyl packing tape guns but now it will be glued with huge labour savings and takes away plastic from this process. Paper tapes are also sometimes used however the glued packs are much stronger and gives greater protection. The Packline’s USP is that due to the genius design and construction it is set-up free! Packs can be fed of different sizes and thicknesses randomly without the need to change any settings so long as they are within specification. Options include an inkjet print head for pack identification and Lamina 4.0 management information system.
The sale of the 07.10 Packline was conducted by Lamina's UK & Irish sales agent, NEIL THAYER of Finishline Machinery.

Bickers are proud to announce that another high specification GLUEJET® has been installed at the DS Smith Retail Marketing plant in Ely, UK during August 2023.
Mark Rust, Projects Engineering Manager at DS Smith, says "After 5 successful GLUEJET® installations during the last 13 years in Ely we have decided to invest again in the most efficient, fastest and safest xy-gluing technology on the market. With the new GLUEJET® 17.25 PAi2 we are able to apply a combination of hotmelt and PVA cold glue at an application speed of up to 6m per second which is perfect for FSDU/Corrugated Display production."
