LAMINA TAPER at South West Packaging.

South West Packaging based in Gillingham, Dorset, UK has just taken delivery of a Lamina taping machine. The machine has 2 tape applicators and a feeder which will mainly be used for corrugated E-commerce boxes. The corrugated sheets can be taped before die cutting or after onto a tape flap. All common double-sided tapes can be applied including finger-lift, tissue/tear tapes etc.

LAMINA PACKLINE INSTALLED AT IMAGE FACTORY.

Image Factory (Part of the Paragon Group) based in Chippenham, UK has started 2025 with a delivery of a 1420 Lamina Packline. The machine has been developed and built by the team at Lamina System in Sweden to glue flat collated corrugated mailer packs. This time consuming finishing process is traditionally carried out by many agency staff using hand-held tape guns.

Lamina System has installed its very popular GL 2200 Gluer at Challenge Packaging based near Hailsham, UK. The machine is equipped with 2 hot melt guns and 2 double sided tape applicators which will be mainly used for gluing standard brown boxes and e-commerce twin taping. Martin Coppard and Kevin Cracknell visited the Lamina factory in Sweden for a full demonstration and concluded the machine perfectly fitted their requirements.

Lamina System develop new machine

London, UK-based SMP Group have installed a tape machine from Lamina System of Boras, Sweden. The machine is used to apply double sided tapes.

This machine has a special function that allows it to apply and cut to length thick magnetic tape primarily used for POS work. The magnetic tape option is the first machine of its kind and was developed by designers at Lamina at the request of SMP Group.

Over the last 2yrs many brand new machine models have been built and installed around the world. A recent new innovative machine is the unique Packline for folding and gluing corrugated flat packs. This is usually carried out with many staff using various tapes.
